Sorry I didn’t post my Week #8 picks; I was a little under the weather. I did announce them on my weekly sports show, “Karl’s Korner” on the Bill Edward’s show WTKS 1290 AM. Here are the picks I made. Remember the bold type print were my picks and I did not pick the Effingham County (**) game against Wayne County, because I coach there and the Calvary (*) versus Portal game because my son plays for Calvary.

RANKING FORMULA –

First each team is given 100 points to start. Then for each win we give them 50 points. Next we take the schedule into consideration and give them 5 more points for each win their opponents have and then divide that number by the number of games the team has played. We then come up with a power rating to rank the teams. Then we can subjectively rank the teams by comparing this information.
